Manning Headed to Denver

They didn't bring Manning in to run a balanced offense at any point of the season.
I'm sure the man isn't retarded, I just find it odd that Manning would want to go there based on the fact that he's a defensive coach that likes to run the football. But I guess you could say that about Tony Dungy too when he went to the Colts, so I guess you have a point there....
This is a 36 year old Manning who missed all of last year and is coming off of 4 neck surgeries.
Just wouldn't be smart to throw him out there week 1 and have him drop back 40 times. They will obviously be a passing offense but I'm sure McGahee will a good amount of carries each game and they will have plenty of playaction.Comment

Keep in mind that this isn't the Peyton Manning that played some 200 games in a row or whatever.

If you build your team around him, which is what I assume was part of Denver's selling point, than you roll the dice against the possibility of him hurting his neck again and going 1-15 while watching the Curtis Painters of the world make their weekly contributions to NFL films Follies videos.Comment

Agreed, can't wait for Glen to start trashing Tebow in the preason and declare him the Dolphins 4th best QB on the roster. Then totally gobble down his dick once the Dolphins start winning.Comment

I root for laundry people, not the individual successes of these guys. Their contracts are all the adulation they need.
