Not a big surprise, but the cornerbacks haven't looked good from what I've seen.

Riddick looks like a better version of Golden Tate.

Quick thoughts off the top of my head:

- Riddick: FANTASTIC. Where has this been since Weis was all over him as a Frosh?
- Atikinson: Quick. Instinctive. Liked what I saw.
- McDaniel: Looked very good for someone new. Way quicker than I had thought/expected.
- Trollson: STUD. Fast. Great throws. START HIM NOW.
- Don't fucking tell me that the kicking game is going to be a problem again.
- Rees looks bad.
- DVD needs to get a thicker and he'll be a great receiver.
- Receivers look great and can make plays on the ball. Note to QBs: Learn to throw fades.
- NBC: Might want to take the live mics off of the players saying "fuck."

CAN SOMEBODY. PLEASE tell Brian Kelly to STOP WASTING SO MANY FUCKING TIMEOUTS. It never fails. ND always wastes timeouts in the first quarter with late play calls to the field. Then the QB comes to the sideline and he gets red faced. Come on son. Obviously your rookie QBs are gonna need a few extra seconds to read defenses so CALL PLAYS FASTER. Jesus fucking Christ I'm so sick of watching ND waste timeouts.

I still don't like Kelly.

Yeah Kelly sucks. Defense looks good though, especially the front 7. If Gunner Kiel doesn't work out at QB, dude looks like he could fit in at LB. I didn't realize he was Tebow sized. Good lawd.
