Odd, I thought the game ended 20-13. Not 20-20

Predict our record:
Navy (W)
- I think it's possible we'll overlook Navy with all the fanfare of going overseas, but in the end we will come out on top. An entire summer to prepare for the triple option is helpful, and our defense has shut it down the past few times against it.
Purdue (W)
- Let's be honest, fuck Purdue and everything to do with that school.
@ Michigan State (L)
- Night game in East Lansing. Here's where the season starts going south.
Michigan (L)
- How epic would it be if both teams came in undefeated? Night in South Bend. Two top ten (maybe fifteen) teams coming back from the dead. This game has College Gameday potential. UM could be ranked in the top five if they beat Alabama as well. The winner of this game will be crowned as "back" in the college football landscape (if both are undefeated). In the end, ND probably loses....by 4...with under 10 seconds left. :denarded:
Miami (W)
- Cool game at Soldier Field. The U is down. I don't think they're very good. We beat them with a worse team in the Sun Bowl. We win.
Stanford (L)
- After a step forward with vs. Miami, we'll take the typical Brian Kelly two-steps-back here against Stanford. The offense will have been figured out by now, and Stanford will shut it down.
BYU (W)
- Possibly overlooking with a trip to Norman the week after, but we'll win comfortably.
Oklahoma (L)
- We don't stand a chance in hell.
Pittsburgh (W)
- Pitt sucks. ND has a knack for beating Pitt lately in football and basketball. Trend continues (Pitty sucks).
@ Boston College (W)
- BC is bad. Bad bad bad.
Wake Forest (W)
- At home, this is a win. Possible loss on the road.
@ USC (L)
- They will shit on our chests just like Carroll used to.
Final Record: 7-5
I said 6-6 on page one of this thread so we'll lose a game in there somewhere.Okay okay. What if.
ND can win any game this year. Right? RIGHT?
The three most troublesome are UM, OK, and USC.
If we can win the games were supposed to, win two of those three, and lose the other in a super close game, we can be in the title game.
Crazier things can happen.Comment

The ND basketball game last night was awesome. The entire (most) football team was in the front 3 rows. They were taking turns mopping the floor, which got some laughs.
During pregame, Vitale walked over to the student section like he always does and gets in with the football players. He grabs some student's "HeisManti" sign and they show him on the jumbotron and the crowd exploded. It was awesome.
Midway through the first half, Manti comes walking in. The students notice and start chanting his name, then they throw him up on the jumbotron. Crowd explodes again.
At half, they start showing a video that says "Live from Grace Hall" and it starts zooming in on the #1 on top of the building all while blaring "Miami" by Will Smith through the speakers. Epic. They announced the four captains at halftime and recognized the football team on their season. It was a very cool experience, and something unique to Notre Dame. You may see Denard at a UM ballgame, but it's never the family atmosphere that the athletes at ND display. Being a small school like ND is really cool for moments like last night.
On the recruiting front, Mattingly decommitted today.... which is actually pretty awesome (IMO). It also seems Jamel James will decommit because he did not make the grades to get into ND. This leaves us with, probably, 4 scholarships left depending on 5th years (this is assuming all those committed stick and we take 4 fifth years). Most seem to think DE Al-Quadin Muhammad is a silent commit right now, just waiting for the AAA game to announce it.
Most also believe we are leading for S Max Redfield, who just decommitted from USC, and it is very likely we will land him.
Lately, it seems we are surging for RB Greg Bryant, the #2 running back in the class by some accounts. His dad said that ND is his (meaning dad's) #1, and he is visiting for the ND Banquet on the 7th.
ND could still land WR Laquon Treadwell (PLEASE), like 3 new USC decommits, and RB Tarean Folston.
Personally, I want to close the class with Treadwell, Muhammed, Redfield, LaRue, and Bryant. Bring back Watt, Z Martin, Calabrese, and Fox. This is assuming Eifert and Cierre bolt for the NFL. It's possible we could gain 2 more schollies depending on Nichol's and Hegarty's injury situations. Since both seem like a 50/50 chance of happening, I listed 5 guys I'd love.
If we close our class like this, and it seems very very possible.... I'll masturbate.Comment
