Cornelius might be more dense than Zoneblitz.
I might be, but your argument to that case would probably be as retarded as your argument about NFL violence. You've always been off base, just more so lately. I can't even begin to understand where you are coming from. Please go make more slampig posts, those are the only thing worthwhile that you have ever managed to post.

Oh, and thanks for answering the questions I asked in that post.

I agree with Maynard, Bucky, Zoneblitz, and TailbackU. Continue to be a total asshole and think that telling someone they are using straw man tactics all the while throwing out ad hominem attacks is totally fucking legit. Just shows what a dipshit you are. Oh, and go make me a hot n ready.

I guess I don't see a huge difference between "I'm going to put this motherfucker on his ass" and "I'm going to put this motherfucker out of the game". They are both pretty extreme attitudes to have, and both put the opponents in danger of serious injury. I guess that's where I don't see eye to eye with the rest of you.
Well for me at the time ((not knowing what we know now about head trauma)) inflicting pain included but wasnt limited to knocking the wind out of a guy , knocking him out , bloodying his nose , hitting him hard enough he'd have to sit out the next play or change his behavior. My intention was to out "man" him. For alot of guys one hit is enough to make them hesitant or enraged to the point theyre focusing on you and not the play. Either way my hitting them hard results in the same thing. X player is now a non factor. He doesnt need to be carted off for that to happen.

I played with people who wanted to go to work the next day. I could very easily try and twist a finger , aim for your ribs ,step on your ankle , pull down on the QB arm in motion , 'accidently' roll into your knee as your guy pushes me down, and all of it would take place during the normal legal part of a football play. But why ? I have plenty of opportunity to make your body hurt without trying to cost you days off of school/work or land you in a hospital. Scaled properly someone saying "Ill pay for your helmet and pads" and I probably would have swayed my morals in the heat of the moment.

You can play on my defense any day.

DSpydr, shag, Maynard, zone blitz, are welcome as well. Bucky can be our D coordinator cuz he has heart but he is old.

W2B is our QB, senser is the diva WR and FT is our Adam Vinatieri.

                  We'd never lose.

no, thats not what i am saying

instead of saying...make sure warner is carted off and we will give you $10,000....they could have said.....make sure warner is carted off and we will win the game.

that is the practice every other team uses. they dont pay their guys to take out other players, they just tell them to do it so they can win games. You think Belecheck isnt telling his players to do everything they can to knock out the other teams best players?

that was the NE gameplan vs the Rams in 2001...let them catch it, then kill them. Just because they didnt call it a bounty doesnt mean that it wasnt the exact same concept.

your point is that the saint used blood money and paid guys to injure the other teams stars. My point is that the Saints could have done the same thing, but not paid the players anything for the result, and it would have been within the same model every other team uses and has used since the NFL began

this is why this specific issue with the Saints is a joke. lets call a spade a spade. this isnt about the Saints going against the commish written requests. Its about the media and bad public relations that have been created. On top of the concussion issue, the James Harrison type hits, the fines, all the stuff the NFL is trying to clean up to avoid paying out huge chunks of money in the future.

shouldnt FT be Ray Finkle...i imagine he would be comfortable with his sack tucked back

Some keep saying "well if the bounties didnt do anything, why did they exist"? Ill tell you why, its the same reason why many athletes have retarded & ridiculous superstitions & rituals. These players believe that having bounties might give them a slight edge, and thats why they do them. They are wrong & stupid for believing it gives them an edge, but just like their superstitions, they do it anyway without regard to the logic it lacks. If you believe the bounties caused them to play different, you might as well believe their superstitions cause them to play better too. Both views are equally stupid & not grounded in any logic.

The bounties could have been 25 cents, and the results would be the same. People have this reverse logic when it comes to the bounties. Players are not trying to crush opponents because of the bounties, its the other way around, the bounties are in place because the players want to crush opponents.
