Surprise. Giants vs. Cowboys Opens Up the Season in September

I figured NYG/GB...but it's Giants and Cowboys opening up the season on the first Wednesday in September.

I figured it would be the Packers as well...still a good game. Nothing like starting the season off getting a good laugh out of Tony Romo

Don't the Cowboys traditionally lose to the Giants? IMO on the field a Packers/Giants game would have more appeal, but to pull in the casual fan I see why it is the Cowboys.

If the Giants can start the season hot like they did after they won the Super Bowl in 2007, it will be good to get an early win and get one of the Cowboys games out of the way. Let's hope the Giants start the season the right way, first though.

Hasnt been pretty lately but I think its about Even since Romo took over.

Cowboys/Giants always equal big ratings. Cowboys/Giants for the East was the most watched primetime game ever.

Romo is 4-6 against the Giants for his career. Started out 3-0 before the divisional playoff loss.

Now Tony Romo can be the first QB to lose on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Jets would have to win a Super Bowl.

                          Great.

Dallas will win and Derrville and Rayman and all the other Cowboy homers will start talking about how "THIS IS THE YEAR!" and then halfway through the season Garrett will be fired and the Cowboys will end the season with a 3 game losing streak and miss the playoffs.

                          yawn.
