HE DID IT AGAIN. Enjoy prison biatch
HELENA, Mont. (AP) -- Two days after posting bail for drug and burglary charges, former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf has been arrested a second time in Montana.
Central Montana Drug Force Commander Chris Hickman says Leaf was arrested early Monday in Great Falls and is facing charges of burglary, theft and two counts of criminal possession of dangerous drugs. He also is being detained on a probation violation.
Hickman says the new charges stem from a burglary on Sunday - two days after Leaf was arrested and charged with burglarizing an acquaintance's home for prescription painkillers.
Hickman declined to detail the allegations against Leaf regarding the latest burglary.
Leaf has a court hearing later Monday. Hickman says the probation violation does not carry a bond, so he cannot be released from jail.I give rep not thanks

This story need to be a 30 for 30. He's going to jail for a long time.
Originally facing 10 years he got off on a plea and a ruling that if he got arrested again that sentence would double. So instead of getting arrested once he gets dinged twice in the same weekend...
What a fall from grace. We need a 30 for 30 on this.
Also, this is the biggest story in the world up here in Spokane, WA. Cougar fans just dumbfoundedI give rep not thanks

Maybe bail wasn't such a good idea. This dude needs a huge wake up call. Maybe a couple years in the pen will straighten this kid out.
It's a shame to watch a guy that was so highly regarded going into the 98 draft just slowly self destruct as he pissed away his football career, and would could of been a very fulfilling life after football.
Very sad, hope he gets his shit together while in the clink...Comment

Well like any drug addict, you can't help them if their not open to receive it. I'm just saying, maybe jail will be the thing that gets him to that point. But obviously if it doesn't, then he'll be right back where he started before he went to jail....Comment

For a period of time. Most definitely. See BigBucs is still pissed that I told him, a couple of years back, I wasn't drinking the Raheem "Kool-Aid" and that I could never support "Rah" for basically slitting Gruden's throat and I was openly hoping he would fail...and he did.Maddon & Friedman: Pissing off the AL East since 2008

Someone who gets it. As much of a fuck-up as he was on the field, he is still a person and one of the nicest guys you could ever meet.
This isn't an issue of being childish, immature or a burn out. This is a serious addiction that has ended the lives of many people. He isn't doing this to get a kick or a thrill.
Research the story of former Jets & Dolphins quarterback Ray Lucas. He was on the same path as Ryan until he got help. I just hope he gets help and can move on with what little opportunity to turn his life around that he has left.Maddon & Friedman: Pissing off the AL East since 2008

Justify it all you want, voice your displeasure for the coaching staff, management, whatever, but support the team/players. You didnt, I have no reason to be "pissed" at you..... you arent that important. Im just telling it how it went. There are many of "fans" who put up with shit coaches, players, management etc... but the dont go as far as denouncing the team because if their affinity for some underachieving coach/player/whoever they felt was done wrong, you did. Why support them now?
I told you what Raheem did and how Gruden was fucked over for years by having the Glazers pull-rank on him. There is loyalty to a team, but, that only goes so far in my book. The way they treated Gruden, Brooks, Dunn and Galloway on their way out was totally and utterly classless. The Glazers deserved everything they got over the last three years - an empty stadium, an apathetic fan-base, hardly any coverage on talk-radio and lack of coverage nationally.Maddon & Friedman: Pissing off the AL East since 2008
