Schefter: HBO Offers Atlanta Falcons 'Hard Knocks' Spot

He tweeted they offered the spot to the Falcons although no official announcement is usually heard until May.

    Ew.

Falcons have some great players and all, but they're a pretty bleh team as far as star power, from the coaches on down.

Broncos already turned it down. If its anything like that falcons bus commercial it will be terrible.

I definitely won't watch them. I can barely stomach watching their crybaby jerkoff coach twice a year, no way I can take a whole series.

In a way I'd like to see Detroit...but they turned it down last season to not get sidetracked on their goal...so I can respect that.

I know the Niners declined when Singletary was the coach. Probably because he's not only a psycho but a complete moron when it comes to being a head coach.

I'm guessing the Yorks and Harbaugh don't want that sideshow, either, though.

I really like how HBO is "offering" the spot as if it is a privilege for NFL teams to be on this show and not the other way around.

Owners/teams that want attention usually do this shit aka Rex Ryan and the Jets, Lewis and the Bengals, Jerry Jones and the Cowboys, etc.

Why do you think the most well run organizations are never on it any more. There's a reason why Manning and the Colts, Belichick's Pats, the Packers, etc. aren't ever on it. They don't want the extra attention nor do they need it.

So with that said, my money is on the Seahawks.

I doubt Arthur Blank will accept this, This team doesn't like the spotlight at all. But if so..

Yeah, it's always some clown show team that ends up on this. Never understood why a team would want this "privilege".
