80 was just a number. LOL. I give you credit for the reference, Dan.

Admittedly got hurt when people made fun of him for it.
Made excuses about how he wasn't even trying on the test anyway.
Because of course it makes perfect sense to care about people laughing at you for scoring low on a test you intentionally bombed.

That's not styling. And sure he still got drafted high, but he did not come out of this situation looking good. Which is why we got LSU fans putting so much energy into defending him in this thread.

Sorry, thought we were talking about the NFL draft process, not the court of public opinion. He styled on the draft process and still got picked 6th overall.

I may not agree with his decision to blow off the Wonderlic, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. He's there to play football, not cure cancer.

Good move for Dallas to jump up and get one of the best players in the draft.

              Dumb football player? Shocked.
So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

This thread should be renamed - LSU homers defend their boy while everyone else laughs at him getting a fucking 4 on the Wonderlic.

coaches may say its not important because they just want some fast meat on the field.

But the test does prove to them how much you care and are interested and if they can actually talk to you on a human level.

I'm sure, guys whoscore 18,20 or higher, have a better chance at lasing a year or 2 longer on average.

it does prove something to someone. I took it years ago for a job..they said I did really good on it and just started asking if I could start work. I dont remember the score, but it seemed
                        to be important to them

Let's just be real about the shit though.

Claiborne is an excellent cornerback prospect who did not do well on the Wonderlic (a test that may or may not be useful at all). Either he scored low on the test or he was too stupid to realize that intentionally bombing it is about the worst solution you could choose, the only thing he gained was the 12 mins they gave him to take the test. The Cowboys are a team that has no problem taking in players like this.

All of the extra stuff like LSU/Cowboy fans trying to act like it's Claiborne against white people or Claiborne vs the NFL Draft process is just stupidity. It was him vs the Wonderlic and he lost. And this is coming from someone who agrees 100% that fans laughing at players for scoring low is lame.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Patrick Peterson score a 6 on it?

I don't recall him being ridiculed and called a liar upon being selected by Arizona. Just sayin'.

So this whole thing revolves around you being a paranoid Cowboys fan that's mad the media is out to get his team?

If it were me I wouldn't give a damn. I'd love to have dude on the Colts he'd be an instant upgrade, mentally retarded or not.
