I don't recall whether I posted here about it or not, but when the stories came out about it, I said I didn't care and hoped he'd drop to where Dallas could grab him.

It was tastic when they traded up for him. I'm fucking thrilled. I just laughed at the fact that nobody cared about it for a while and then all of a sudden people were getting their moral compasses bent out of shape the minute he joined his new team.

    That's all.

Claiborne is an excellent cornerback prospect who did not do well on the Wonderlic (a test that may or may not be useful at all). Either he scored low on the test or he was too stupid to realize that intentionally bombing it is about the worst solution you could choose, the only thing he gained was the 12 mins they gave him to take the test. The Cowboys are a team that has no problem taking in players like this.

All of the extra stuff like LSU/Cowboy fans trying to act like it's Claiborne against white people or Claiborne vs the NFL Draft process is just stupidity. It was him vs the Wonderlic and he lost. And this is coming from someone who agrees 100% that fans laughing at players for scoring low is lame.

maybe judgemental, but not lame. It proves colleges let athletes slide by constantly. If you cant anser these not incredibly difficult questions on this test, it proves you arent too bright at all.
and that can be amajor difference to short or long and successful career. Its not to say he cant/wont wise up with time, alot do time and again.

but if you brush off a simple test, forgeting that national media will bother about it and mock you. You arent starting well at all.

We needed a stupid Wonderlic test to "prove" this?

That's like the ESPN expose about players smoking weed. Like it was some ground breaking information.
