UT FB team had GPA of 2.06 last fall, 1.9 among scholarship players. 30 players on academic probation, 6 walkons. 2 on scholarhip are gone

The crazy thing is this was one of Dooley's excuses. He said it was going to take a while to build the team up because they were going to do it "the right way." They were going to get get good kids who went to class. They are losing and have UConn Basketball territory GPAs. Its just a bad situation in Knoxville, short of a 10 win season there is no way to Drink the Dool Aid any longer.


Meanwhile Bobby Knight lambasts UK and how he hates them because "none of the kids go to class" and UK had 2nd most basketball players on SEC Honor roll with 4 scholarship guys on there to Vandy's 6.

Dooley is the worst coach in the SEC, bar none. The best part is his buy out is higher than Saban's annual salary.

I can guarantee Da'rick Rogers is on academic probation. Most athlete classes I take (sociology classes) are really fucking easy. You can tell which ones kind of take it serious and which ones don't. Most of the walk ons do seem to try the most, because these guys are ok athletes but most are just too small to play SEC football so they don't have much else. Jacques Smith is the only scholarship football player I've seen in 3 years actually give a damn about school. (asking for help, taking notes, showing up)
