How many of them were realistically expected to do much(if anything) though? Kevin Jones? Maybe Andre Davis?

      top 80 pick = starter
top 180 pick = solid first year contributor and a possible starter within 2-3 yrs
everything else = roster spot/practice squad spot filler

I don't think those really hold up. No one expected Will Furrer to really be much more than a backup in Chicago for example. All those names for VaTech and none of them really jump out as "OMG I can't believe that guy didn't do anything". Jones got hurt or IMO he would have been a really solid back.

Still trying to come to grips with the Redskins drafting Cousins, but the positives is that you will have two quarterbacks learning the system together, which should accelerate the time it takes for them to learn the playbook and it will push both players.

Though without a second round pick, I am not happy we didn't pick someone who would have an impact somewhere else.

I think the draft grade from Lefty was a pretty good one.

I loved the Lions draft except for Broyles. I cannot understand why we drafted a WR, let alone one that wasn't that fast to begin with AND was coming off of an ACL tear. Lions could have used help at nearly every position defensively except DT, but instead took a luxury pick on a recovering WR. Lions aren't in the position to be making luxury picks like that in the 2nd round.

You'll be begging to suck Broyles' cock by the end of the season.

Still a head scratcher considering. Look at Indy, their whole draft was based on making Luck comfortable and with the Skins not having a 1st rounder for the next 2 years it was pretty foolish, IMO, to draft a back up QB when Grossman would be fine in that capacity for the next 2 years or so.

Josh Freeman is a backup QB who starts.

Now either you think JHight is gonna hit a rough patch or Broyles is gonna be a stud.

I'll think the former is more likely....sorry JH.

i couldnt agree more with your assessment of the browns draft. richardson might be a great back, but for this team and the phylosophy they have pounded down our throats since day 1 they needed to expand the passing game. i dont know anything about this john huges except that he wasnt even supposed to be drafted and we take him in the 3rd round

looks like another 4 or 5 win season. its becoming easier to not like this team

Has to be double hard to stomach the Browns draft when you consider what the other three AFCN teams came away with, particularly the Bengals and Steelers. The picking of Richardson in this division doesn't make sense to me at all. Even if he is a great player, the other three teams are top tier run defenses...and with the Browns not having a threat outside...yeah. I just don't see how Richardson helps them win more games over the next couple years.

I thought they should have gone QB/WR or WR/QB in the first two rounds. Weeden pick was awful but if they liked him that much, take Blackmon first and then in the second take Weeden...just a terrible draft for the Browns.

If Freeman is a backup then Blaine Gabbert is practice squad material at best.
