    Expectations for Randy Moss

Moss will be a player watched by many, given that he spent a year off the field and the disaster that was 2010. So what are your expectations for him heading into the 2012 season?

    Absolutely nothing.

If he can provide any value whatsoever, the 49ers should be ecstatic.

I expect he will get injured and he will fade away. If he helps them win 1 game it is a positive acquisition.

I don't expect much from him, as the offense and Alex Smith really don't suit what he does. I see him getting about 2-3 looks downfield a game and maybe averaging about 2-3 catches a game before he implodes and Harbaugh gets rid of him. His only hope is that Harbaugh does know what he is doing, so I'm sure he has a plan. However, I don't expect much.

          I'm prediciting a huge year.

I see the Moss hype machine is already in full effect as Alex Smith was going on about him after their first workout...I don't think hes gunna have a huge year, I think something like 700 yards and 5 TDs is reasonable.

Pretty much how I feel. An average/above average year for Moss is better than any WR we have (outside of maybe Crabtree)

I'm thinking this sort of year, with a few more TDs. 500-700 yds and 8-10 TDs. I honestly think Randy was brought in to catch TD's in the redzone. 49ers suck so bad inside the 20.

Not that I am expecting it to happen, but I really wouldn't be shocked if he has a huge "bounce back" year. Definitely not to the extent of what he had in 2007 in New England, but Moss totaling 1000+ yards and 12 TDs really wouldn't surprise me that much.

Completely agree, then again it wouldn't surprise me if he falls off the roster by week 10. It's pretty much an open ended discussion, and I doubt many would be shocked either way. He sucks, that's Moss, it was expect. Huge year, it's Moss, it was expected.

Think about this, the 49ers last season had 2 receiving threats around 800 yards (Crabtree and Davis) and then no one even above 250 yards. If Moss can even get 500 yards, the 49ers would be ecstatic since it would be a huge improvement over their production from the previous season. I think Harbaugh would give up his first born if Moss could break 1,000 yards.

That being said, I'm guessing 600 yards. Nothing amazing, but still an improvement.

                              my expectations 120 catches 1700 yrds 16TDs.

he can do it, hes the greatest.
