    Winslow finished in Tampa Bay

TAMPA, Fla. -- Kellen Winslow's time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers apparently is over.

In an interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio on Monday morning, Winslow said he was told by the team that his services no longer are required. Winslow said he was told the Bucs will attempt to trade him.

While Winslow appears on his way out, former Indianapolis Colts tight end Dallas Clark may be on his way in with the Bucs.

The veteran tight end worked out for the team last week, and the Bucs are expected to offer him a contract, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Clark also has made visits to the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots.

Winslow, meanwhile, said he was told by the Buccaneers that part of the reason for the decision was that he had not been taking part in offseason workouts with the team.

New coach Greg Schiano hasn't been shy about shaking up a roster that produced a 4-12 record last season. Schiano previously released safety Tanard Jackson, with team officials saying it was because the team was unhappy with how Jackson was approaching the offseason.

Winslow, 28, joined the Bucs in 2009 through a trade with Cleveland. Although a sore knee prevented him from practicing frequently last season, Winslow appeared in all 16 games and caught 75 passes for 763 yards and two touchdowns.

The Colts released Clark, who will turn 33 next month, on March 9 as part of a massive veteran purge following the release of franchise icon Peyton Manning.

Clark spent nine years with the Colts, catching 427 passes for 4,887 yards and 46 touchdowns. He also became the second tight end in NFL history to have 100-plus receptions in a season (2009). He was chosen for the Pro Bowl in that year.
