Otherwise, I don't think it affects it much at all. We were going to cut Peterson after he turned down a pay cut because his cap number was bigger than Leroy Hills even with the franchise tag on it. That's insane.

I still think the Seahawks wish list is Jason Smith, Aaron Curry and Michael Crabtree.. and that we will take the one left to us at #4
Enjoy Corey Redding as he gets blown up on running plays, and then proceeds to be completely ineffective in passing plays. But, hey, he might get a sack or two next season.

I honestly think we may pass on Curry now with this trade and pick up Lauranitis later in the draft to wash Dizon out of the starting lineup. Maybe we draft Stafford and let him sit a couple years?

George Foster will not start. The man is the king of false starts, if anyone starts at right guard it'll be a draft pick for Stephen Peterman.

Also Rudi Johnson is no longer on the team, Maurice Morris is now Kevin Smith's back up.

So it's a great victory because we trade for a player who would not have chosen to play here otherwise?

A 31 year old, overpaid, potentially malcontent LB for a 28 year old, malcontent, overpaid DT.

            Meh, wash.

I think you guys will probably pass on Curry too, as great as his potential is. Lauranitus would be a smarter pick, and honestly, I think he'll do just fine.

If you guys draft Stafford though, there's NO WAY he doesn't start 5+ games this season. Especially if the losing continues. Fans will yell for it, and granted, it would be smart to do, but you really have no choice in situations like that.

Lauranitus is AJ Hawk clone, and Hawk has turned into a bust.
