The New England Patriots have signed former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Joey Galloway to a one-year contract, according to Steve Duemig of WDAE in Tampa.
In four starts last season, Galloway caught 13 passes for 138 yards. In 2007, he caught 57 passes for 1,014 yards and six touchdowns.
According to NFL.com, Galloway has registered 682 career receptions for 10,710 yards and 77 touchdowns in 14 NFL seasons.
"From the time he hits the court, he plays at a competitive level that you rarely see," Popovich says. "He does the exact same things that Kobe (Bryant) does, that Michael Jordan did.

hmmm...not really seeing what your trying to get at. We have addressed the defense just as much as the offense this offseason. The secondary was major problem last year and we signed 2 pretty decent corners. All are old players will probably not be in the game that much. At LB it will be Mayo and Guyton in the middle. Thomas and probably someone they draft outside. James Sanders and Brandon Meriweather as safeties. I think we addressed the age quite well.
BTW I dont think any patriot fans in this thread besides maybe one said OMG the patriots are gonna be beast again. Pretty much what everyone is saying that he will be a good fit. Also why not be excited when your team has a good offseason? I mean if the Panthers(I believe thats who you like) got a great quarterback wouldnt you be excited for the upcoming season?
BTW Houstonboy, how does signing guys like Joey Galloway and Fred Taylor even compare to guys like Fitzgerald and Peterson?
