How will last years playoff teams do this coming season?

I would guess the Giants may do worse then all of them except maybe the Saints ?

Isnt there's some stat like every season 6 new teams make the playoffs that didn't the previous year?

What worries me about the Giants:

-career years from Cruz and Nicks last year. Keep it going.
-do they have a good blocking TE?
        - they always get fucked with injuries
        - can Wilson carry the load when Bradshaw goes down?
-Can Tuck have a bounce back year?
-Can anyone emerge in the slot?
-After the last SB, that team started red hot before Plax committed a felony

        What makes me confident:
        -Coughlin
        -Eli
        -JPP and an improved DL
        -Corner depth
        -LB depth
        -Great punter
        -improved OL

Patriots- Great Season probably number one seed again
Ravens- Another great season and will probably be the two seed again.
Texans- Probably be in discussion all season and if they make it, they'll be in as a wildcard. Tennessee is probably gonna win the AFC South next year.
Broncos- Peyton Manning will probably be very pedestrian for the first few weeks but will get it together. Broncs will win their division and probably be a 3 or 4 seed.
Steelers- I think they'll miss the playoffs.
Bengals- 50-50 on whether or not they're for real. So don't know yet.

Packers- Won't be as good as they were the past two seasons but i think they'll still make the playoffs just not a 1 seed.
49ers- Last year was not a fluke. They'll be 1 seeds.
Saints- After the offseason, i'm 50-50 on them making the playoffs. They might be a different team without Sean Payton.
Giants- They'll repeat as NFC East champs but have a lot of tough division games. Probably a 9-7 or 10-6 season.
Falcons-The Falcons will get it together this year and have a great season. Probably a 2 seed.
Lions- They'll be a threat to the Packers. They'll be a threat to the whole league.

              Meh... I'll just do this...

              AFC:

              1. Patriots
              2. Texans
              3. Ravens
              4. Broncos
              5. Bengals
              6. Jets

              NFC:

              1. Packers
              2. 49ers
              3. Cowboys
              4. Falcons
              5. Bears
              6. Panthers

So basically I think the AFC will hold form pretty much and the NFC will shuffle a good amount

Looking from 2010 to 2011, Chicago, Philadelphia, Seattle, Indianapolis, Kansas City, and the Jets were all replaced by San Francisco, Detroit, New York Giants, Denver, Houston, and Cincinnati.

Packers have to fix their defense. They will never win again if their defense is as shitty as it was last season.

Wasn't expecting them to sneak into your hypothetical playoff field at all. Nope, definitely wasn't expecting to see that.

If the Bears have Cutler for a full season and can stay reasonably healthy I think they might be able to overtake Green Bay. Before he and Forte went down last year they were starting to look like the best team in the league at just the right time.

I think Baltimore and Atlanta have a chance to slip out of the race this year and the Bengals will be exposed and out of the playoffs as well.

Of course I want to say Denver is going to improve but it's all contingent on Manning's ability to be able to make it through the season. Say what you want about Tim Tebow's ability as a QB but one thing you knew for sure is no matter what kind of a hit he took he would pop right up and be back in the huddle for the next play. If Manning goes down and we're counting on Caleb Hanie to click with a pretty young and raw group of receivers (Stokley and the two new TEs being the exceptions), it's not going to turn out very well.
