    Marvin Lewis Signs Extension

The Cincinnati Bengals have signed head coach Marvin Lewis to a contract extension through the 2014 season, the team announced Tuesday.

Lewis is entering his 10th season as the helm of the Bengals, posting a 69-74 record in that time.

Lewis has led the Bengals to the playoffs in two of the past three seasons.

I love me some Marvin Lewis, but it's pretty crazy that a coach has been able to stay on the same team without a single playoff win in 9 years.

Marvin Lewis gives the best head in the NFL.

Ownership must still be shell shocked from the 90s.
Best reason to have a license.

Has there been a coach who has gotten worse results that has managed to keep a job this long?

Bart Starr coached the Packers from 1975-1983 with almost zero success.
