The only time I'll root for The Cowboys. It'll still be entertaining though if they lose, a win win situation.

In a year that I believe has shown how difficult it is to go undefeated, I would advise you to rethink that statement, but then I remembered I could not give any less of a fuck.

12-0 baby. Perfection. Still pissed at Gene Smith for botching the bowl ban, but this moment is incredible.

It's less difficult for some than others. But you know this.

I guess we'll see how they stack up when they play in a bow- oh wait.

I realize I'll get called out on this because I'm a Michigan fan so that mean I must be biased, but I don't really consider it perfection. Yes you won all your regular season games but you aren't playing in the Big Ten title game or any type of bowl game. You haven't played all the games that should be playing in order to have an actual perfect season.

Forget the 12-0 they'll finish with...how about a single win over a top 10 team?

In MMA, Eddie Alvarez is a really good lightweight, a lot of fun to see him fight. But, the guy hasn't beaten a top 10 lightweight since MAYBE 2008. Kind of forces you to qualify his success.

We won every game on the schedule. That, in my mind, is perfection.

                          It is.

But, not against overly tough competition.

Same could be said for the team that is #1.

It's not like we were playing the little sisters of the poor here either. We pounded a top 15 team 63-38 and beat another top 20 team today.

                              As far as SOS goes:
                              54. Alabama
                              61. Florida State
                              64. Ohio State
                              84. Georgia

Notre Dame has played two teams below .500 all season (Boston College and Wake Forest - a 5-win team)...current SOS was rated higher than everyone in the top 10 other than UF, TAMU, and Stanford (ND beat Stanford). 17th in the country going into this week.

Notre Dame's schedule was strong. No breaks. No cupcakes.
