Are the Jets as interesting as ESPN would like us to believe?

I'm not sure why ESPN is attempting to do their own "Hard Knocks," but they've been at Jets camp all training camp. I understand Tebow is there, but he's far less interesting in training camp as he is during the season. Its not as if this is a great team or anything (8-8/9-7?). They report on camp fights as if it is something new and I'm starting to believe they're taking more joy and painting the team as being a circus. I've been listeing to ESPN radio and this team is all they are talking about. Are the Jets an interesting team to you?

Tebow and Sanchez generate a ton of hits, major keywords.

ESPN isn't about content, it's traffic, which makes money. Content is just added cost, so skimp that shit.

No, I don't really like watching their games (Sanchez is too frustrating), and their defense took a nosedive after Jim Leonhard got injured.

I don't follow the off-the-field stuff for any team, so I'm not really into ESPN's training camp reports. I only tangentially follow the Saints, and thats so I can respond to KNUBB's postings.

Of course not. Question answers itself.

But ESPN doesn't care what's interesting. Watching Mark Schlereth and Trey Wingo sit at a desk making declarative statements about teams based on games that happened 4 days earlier isn't interesting either.

the network is closer to that particular team...se how that works ?

they showed a Jets team fight that had nothing to do with the QBs at least..

No team except Cleveland has a possible QB battle, so this one needs to be milked.

The Jets don't have a QB battle. Sanchez has been named the starter. There is no competition.

Tennessee has Hasselbeck and Jake Locker - I'd be more interested in seeing that "QB battle." RGIII would blow away the Jets in terms of ratings.

                    Matt Flynn / Tavares Jackson?

Sanchez is boring to me. Tebow doesn't interest anybody on the practice field.

ESPN is retarded. I was wondering why the hell there was so much Jets coverage every time I flipped to ESPN. I didn't know they were doing a whole inside the training camp of the NY jets thing.

I agree, I don't get why the media is so fascinated with him....what does he do or say that is interesting?

My only guess is they're trying to tap into the mexican market. I don't get why, though, since most mexicans don't own televisions or cable.

Sanchez is an average QB and Tebow is a bum.
