i think fedex is getting a bit salty because he has some sort of sports podcast and wants to believe its original and entertaining. but the fact is that all media is the same boring repetitve self serving try to be the first to report or try to be the most shocking media source. It doesnt matter if its world, state, local, news or sports media....its all the same BULLSHIT! They are all trying to get more people to tune into their broadcast in anyway they can.

      case in point
Derek Jeter today laughed off insinuations by Skip Bayless of ESPN's "First Take" that his excellent 2012 season was the result of using performance-enhancing drugs.

if after listening to that you are still defending the media in any way you should be shot

MLB Tonight is fantastic. When there is no game that has my full attention, I watch that. They go around the league, do live look ins at key times, and talk about the days events as they unfold.

The Quick Pitch is great late at night if you've been out and need to catch up. This is what I put on if I want to see highlights, while ESPN is live from Jets camp or Jaws is talking about his 18th ranked QB.

The network itself would be near perfect if they let Mitch Williams go.

Of the league specific networks, MLB covers their offseason the best. Hot Stove Tonight, live every day from the winter meetings, Clubhouse Confidential (which was a groundbreaking show that took some guts to put on the air, since it flies in the face of a lot of old school baseball people, including people employed by the network itself).

213 has become my "go to", fuck 206.
I'm not nearly as much of a beisball freak as you mooks, but Quick Pitch is mandatory viewing every night.

Jeter should sue the shit out of ESPN for that. Same with Ryan Braun.

I would rather watch the Ice Bowl than a current, live, NFL game.

Jesus fucking christ people, I haven't done the podcast in almost 2 years. Shut the fuck about it, it has no bearing in how I think about sports media.

Then again, this is what I get for arguing with village idiots Rams and Maynard.

Yup I'm defending the media (which in this case is ESPN apparently) even though I started the thread about how awful ESPN is, but yeah totally.

he sucks tremendously, is a complete suck up and full of himself. He thinks he is his own kind of intellectual hippness. He is a true tool. Very accomplished but still a media tool.
