I like Mitch Williams. He's crazy enough to be entertaining and I actually like his break downs of pitches etc. Or when they take them over to that miniature field to break down strategy/fundamentals. Al Leiter is more intelligent but sucks on camera.

ESPN is just a small step above E! Network in the way their broadcasts are produced. E! reports on celebrities on their news segments particularly the ones that star in their scripted reality shows. It's like a non-stop infomercial promoting the people they are in bed with. ESPN is the sports equivalent of E! at this point.

To be fair to Sportscenter is there anything else they could've shown outside of still images? NBC own the exclusive rights to all video footage in the States, and would've charged them obscene prices for the rights to even air 30 second clips due to ESPN = ABC.

Outside of re-enacting events with Lego, their hands were tied... (although that would've been better then images)

OMG this would have been awesome. They need to do this. For every sport, not just the olympics.

its a 24 hour sports network. I wont complain about that ever. Analyzing the stupid shows I never watch anyway is a waste of time. When I turn it on, I see plenty of highlights n scores and thats Heaven and always will be. Long Live ESPN !

ESPN is to sports what MTV is to music.

They sign talents like Bob Costas to do their in-depth sit-down interviews.

It's the Lord's work. Everyone should support that network with their remote.

Great network sure - but its a league operated network, it should be great.

I agree the Tebow shit is way over the top and so force fed its sickening.. however, the NFL is the most popular sport in the country, ESPN would be foolish not to run with that.

This. 110% this. Especially in the offseason.. they could run so many classic games to pass the time.
