RGIII's first drive looked pretty damn good, perfect 6-6 passing, and the Saints answered their FG with a TD on their next drive. Jimmy Graham is such a mismatch for them to exploit.

It was mostly screen passes. Very simple stuff on that first drive. Didn't look bad, just wasn't amazing. He was 6-6 for 35 yards. Now that slant to Garcon? That was tits!

Finally good play-calling from Kyle Shanahan. But those screens, while simple, serve multiple purposes. Also liked seeing some of the option-type stuff out of the backfield.

Definitely served a purpose. Garcon broke open that slant because the Saints were up on the line.

3 straight scoring drives for the Redskins, this time TD pass to Aldrick Robinson, who is replacing Garcon, who is out with an injury. Robinson had a great catch earlier for his first catch in the NFL, and now his first TD.

Redskins had a punt blocked. After having five FGs blocked last season, I am not looking forward to the protection team again.

Miami dominated Houston for 26 of the first 30 minutes. In the last 4 minutes they turn the ball over 4 times and give up 21pts.

Jets played an amazing first half, Sanchez looking really calm and poised.

Redskins came out and scored on their first possession of the second half, thanks in part to a gutsy call on 4th and inches to go to the end zone. Now the defense has forced their fourth 3 and out on the Saints, who just can't get things going. On defense, Cedric Griffin playing extremely well.

Jags tried their damnedest to lose on offense when they refused to stop AD on defense.

...and STILL, it came down to a FG to send it to overtime and another to win it for Minny.

Here's to hoping Sunshine learns from his mistakes and Mularkey NOT calling a fucking pass play on 3rd down when the defense has been knocking that shit down.

the browns defense was awesome today. they had vick under constant pressure and forced 5 turnovers and could have gotten a few more. They gave up alot of yards, but they held up for the most part. Unfortunately they gave up the go ahead TD with 118 to go. I cant complain though because they were the only reason this game was close. If the pathetic offense had even a glimpse of life we might have won this game.

no offense to the redskins fans, but the mustard yellow pants with the red jerseys are by far the ugliest looking uniforms in the nfl

Nike will work things out I hope for next year as far as uniforms go.

Defenses will always allow a lot of yards now in the NFL with the rules favoring offensive players. However, like the Browns did, you've got to make plays when they count, and also not kill yourself with dumb penalties.
