The Ravens are so fucking dumb for still not having Flacco's contract extended. A deal in the offseason would have cost them literally probably half of what it is going to cost them if they wait until after this season is over. Great performance by the Ravens tonight. Never could have imagined they'd have half their starters out at the 12 minute mark of the 4th quarter.

Not sure if the Ravens are that good or if the Bengals are going to be the usual Bengals and follow a good year with a bad year. Defense really wasn't that great until Reed ignited them in typical Reed fashion with his pick-6, but dat offense.

Antonio Gates just went back to the Locker Room. You know it's football season when he has his yearly injury.

I hate Joe Buck with a passion, and actively avoid any NFL game he calls as much as possible. Having said that, Berman may actually be 100x worse as a play-by-play man. I especially loved the fumble that went about 4 feet in the air and was caught cleanly by a Charger. He tries to advance it, and gets tackled. Berman calls NONE of that, and after the play says "the Chargers think they have it." I KNOW they have it, because I watched the damn play, you moron. ESPN couldn't find anyone better than Berman to do this? I'm sure their well isn't THAT shallow....

The Raiders don't look that bad talent wise but they've just made so many dumb mistakes it's laughable.

They also really need a tight end and for Moore and Ford to get healthy. Dumping off to Darren McFadden will only work for a couple of quarters. It's funny to watch Palmer force it to McFadden when he is being covered by 2 or 3 guys.

A West coast late night game that went to 1:30am in the morning for us EST guys. I'm sure ESPN really didn't care who was broadcasting. I will say though it felt like watching a preseason game.

            Leafs offseason training!

That game was tough....but I gotta give kudos to the Ravens playcalling. No doubt we were geared up to try and stop Ray Rice running the ball 25+ times, and they came out and passed a shit load. Secondary is going to be a serious problem for the Bengals this year, I been sayin it from day one.

Atleast we play the Browns next.

Oh, and my fake football teams went 2-1. The 2 teams that won scored the most points in the league too.

Don't think the Bengals secondary is the problem so much as it is the Ravens having one of the better groups of receivers in the NFL, finally, and a QB who has matured to the point where he's in complete control of the offense, and is finally being given full reign of it to change plays, etc. Got Boldin doing the possession stuff, Jones and Smith as the deep threats, Pitta and Dickson working all over, and then you still have to focus a lot on Rice. I don't follow the Bengals enough to know for sure but IMO it's going to be tough for any team to handle what the Ravens can throw at them this year.

Question: did Gruden/Tirico/whoever comment on the flag on Webb for RTP when Dalton still had the ball in his fucking hand when he hit him?

Alright, so I have absolutely no proof on this at all but I came up with a theory as to why the Bucs were able to destroy us so thoroughly. Yes, they tackled great all day and Josh Freeman was hot early, but it seemed to me that they knew when and where we were trying to go on a lot of plays.

It just so happens that we were training about an hour drive from Tampa all week because of the DNC in Charlotte. Does anyone else think that perhaps the Bucs could have eyes and/or ears on our practices and were able to know our gameplan and/or play calls before the game even started?

I just imagine how easy it would be for a Bucs assistant or whoever to at least put a microphone or small camera near or on our practice field for the week. I only say this because they had our number. It just seemed the playcalling for the Bucs was too perfect. Thoughts?

They had some ref in the booth, and he said it was the right call. Not because he hit him when he had the ball, but because he led with his head.

Just a bad game plan, the Bucs made some good moves and progress in the off-season, just about anything could be the culprit of that. Someone just grasping for straws but that is a hilarious notion. There would have been whispers of other teams doing this if that were the case.

                            Just read this on twitter:

The 49ers haven't committed a turnover in six straight games. NFL record: 7 (2010 Patriots).

I don't know if that carries over from one season to the next though.
