lots of field goals yesterday, week 4, 2012

was yesterday above average / just seems to me there were alot of field goals if you total all the games together ?

39 made of 47

I may be missing a couple because I ignored the Green Bay game and a couple othes because the points were obviously more TD oriented.

Just seems like more than usual though. And I dont know how to google a record day total ?

Rookie kickers have done REALLY well this year. Usually rookie kickers are super unreliable, but Greg the Leg, Justin Tucker, and Blair Walsh have all been real good and have hit big kicks for their team this season, including game winners.

Theres been alot of blocks and near blocks of Punts. Thats the only thing I noticed.
