But it wasn't. The replay clearly shows his helmet hitting his chest. Luck's head coming down from the impact of the hit resulted in the helmet hitting Perry's helmet.

Perry's helmet did not come into contact with Luck's until after the collision took place- it looks like Luck's neck went to the left with the impact and then to the right afterwards, and that is when their helmets hit. In the heat of the moment, I am not surprised that a penalty was called, but no way does that merit a fine.Comment

"(The NFL said) I led with the crown of my head. For that, I got fined," Perry said, via ESPN Milwaukee. "I've got to be more focused on making a play without the head."Comment

All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.
"rammer" and "cummings"
The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.Comment

Reminds me a lot of the hit James Harrison put on Ryan Fitzpatrick a couple of years ago.
My understanding was that the 25K fine that followed that particular hit was put into place because Harrison led with his helmet.
Is my understanding wrong here? What's really the issue here? the Fine? or are we arguing about rules again?Comment
