Matt Cassel (concussion) has officially been ruled out of Sunday's Week 6 game against the Bucs.
It's possible Cassel would have been benched even if he didn't sustain a concussion last week. Through five games, he's turned the ball over a league-leading 14 times, is averaging just 6.5 yards per pass attempt and has won once. Cassel will take the Week 7 bye to get his head right, meaning Brady Quinn will make his first start since 2009. Quinn projects to struggle, but he can't play much worse than Cassel was. We wouldn't downgrade Dwayne Bowe in the weekly rankings.
