Yeah about that ... You must be the biggest fanny in the world since you know, I live over here and have been to these games, been at tailgates with thousands of British fans.

Just another FYI ya fucking dobber - the average attendance of the games held since 2007 is higher than the average seasonal attendance of every NFL team other than Washington (2007/8/9/10) and Dallas (2008/9/10/11).

because of tourists and looky loo's,... no Brits give a flying fuck about American football. Definitly not enough to matter in the long run.

average attendance means nothing because soccer stadiums are just huge and they are one shot deals. They are there to party and could care less about the teams or game.

plain and simple, if you put the Steelers in London, the franchise would lose money and become the worst in the league. Just like if you tried to put some major London team in the Rose Bowl or something for entire seasons in America. No one would care.

Tourists and looky-loos: exactly the type of people who would snap up 40,000 tickets within half an hour of them going on sale.

51 amateur, adult football teams across 3 countries - population of about California/Texas combined. An additional 46 teams in 2 leagues - of 14-17 and 16-19 year olds. Plus 68 University teams (Go Tigers!). Over a decade of consistent live coverage. 5 live games per week. All playoff games shown live. Superbowl live on 2 channels - watched by 4.3m people last year (which by the way means staying up after midnight with work the following morning for many). Over 80,000 people at Wembley 4 of last 5 games. 45,000 attendees at the first ever tailgate. 370,000 users registered at nfluk.com

It's not a one-shot deal it's an every year thing. It's not quite apples to apples but you belittling a consistent crowd of 80,000 people is one of your many forum low points.

They are there to party and could care less about the teams or game.
It's 'couldn't care less' you fucking twat.

            Not proven.

Not even what we're talking about.

            Not even going to happen.

            Fuck you.

point blank dude= youre young and dumb. a nfl franchise would never survive in the black in london.

and the 2 wnfl teams that were there were moved to Gernany because they would be near two American Army bases. because they werent drawing enough.

You're trying to be an expert on a subject you know nothing of. You're changing the topic from the viability of the NFL playing a regular season game to the viability of the NFL re-organizing, re-aligning, expanding, and moving a team to a completely new continent for the first time. Talk about trying to run before you can walk you absolute nonce. You're trying to argue a point which will only be anything more than hypothetical in two decades or longer. To bring this "debate" into even further disrepute, you're touting your own intelligence! Listen, I don't know for sure that there are enough adults dumber than you in the whole, entire world to even fill Wembley.

no, the problem here little one is you are trying to be a pseudo intellectual and over thinking something so very simple.
No NFL franchise would ever survive in London and no player would want a career traveling that far 8 times a year. Its a freaking stupid idea on all aspects and will never happen.

Its called wisdom you dipshit. For example, I am an expert when it comes to sucking balls. I have much wisdom in this category.

they have been doing exibitions there since the 60s and nothing is going to change. There will never be a pro team in England...Canada makes more sense.

I know you're dumb, and I assume your carers know too ... but do you have proper, state-recognized learning difficulties? You might be able to get some extra assistance, such as a fully non-functioning keyboard without any keys which will help you to not look like such a numpty on the internet.

Do you not understand that I've only ever responded to you stating that British people don't care about American Football? The only person talking about an NFL team located permanently outside of the USA is you. This thread is about the Jags playing the 49ers in the first year of a four year commitment to playing one solitary game annually at Wembley. Which, by the way, will be an outright success every year.

But but but a team wouldn't survive playing in London full time.
