Cam's problem is that every team has ample tape on him now. VY NEVER adjusted after teams watched the tape and took away the right side of the field where he liked to tuck and run. When they just crowded the right side and he was forced to run left or *GASP* complete a pass he went downhill quickly.

Im hoping that Cam Newton can adjust to the way defenses are playing him now. Newton will likely make it out of this funk where Young refused to adjust or simply couldnt improve on his weaknesses.

The Seahawks defense is one of the best in the league. Let's keep this in mind.

And in the Giants game Cam just made retarded decisions. I think 2 of his interceptions he threw it directly towards the defenders. Just lack of the ability to read coverages.

It's not really relevant to this thread.
So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

I also think it's DCs having a year of film on Newton. Though hopefully during the bye week, the Panthers can change a few things around to make their offense more productive.
Alright... it's not the FILM on Newton, I'm still surprised that most people still haven't realized that he stays in the pocket as long as there is one.The o-line has been atrocious, blitz pick-ups terrible, and the playcalling is fucking laughable. The playcalling is SINKING him, the expectations are getting to him a bit, but when playcall is read option, delay, pass because its 3rd and 8 every set of downs he has no chance.

Everybody thinks Cam is this running QB that bootlegs all the time and throws only from his right in a one read attack. Gotta watch the games man, dude is uncomfortable throwing on the run, he is a pocket QB that happens to have wheels. Last year the offense was a lot more diverse, this year Chud is very predictable. The Bucs game there isn't much excuse but the Bucs played great... but the Giants Seahawks and Falcons aren't exactly teams that you can lose to and say that a player has greatly regressed. Cam was on his ass most of those games.

Cam reads the coverages alright, not great, there are a lot of throws where the WR's dont seem on the same page and a ton that he just forces because he does have the arm to make some plays. He overthrows the ball a lot which results in picks that make you shake your head and you think he cant read a defense because he fires the ball out and tries for the big play. Vince was dumb, cocky, couldn't read defenses and had weapons around him where he should have succeeded.

Cam's team is fucking terrible... the line has two decent lineman, the defense has essentially nobody when a rookie is your best defensive player outside of an inconsistent Charles Johnson. Special teams is putrid. Playcalling is too predictable. Things will get better, but people can't wrap their heads around different paths that QB's take. A lot of young QBs have great defenses/run games, something to help them out, Cam is forced to try it all by himself, I don't blame him for fucking it up, he's trying to hard.
