    A.) He's not a rookie
B.) They won't meet again unless they both make the Super Bowl.

In that case.. if Brady needs "motivation" .. Sherman already won.

Sherman better have a good game Thurs night
      :niggaplease:

The casual fan doesn't know who Sherman is because he plays in the NFL equivalent of Cairo.

Rest assured, he's a Top 5 CB right now. If he played in New York or Dallas, the hype behind Sherman would be ridiculous.

Yeah, I can only imagine what would have happened had NY or Dallas held Tom Brady to 395 yards passing. They would be building statues of Rob Ryan and Prince Akamura would be up for DPOTY.

Most of the 395 came when Brady picked on Trufant and Browner.. not Sherman.

LOL it makes no difference, its still 395 yards LOL as easy as the pass rules are, its still 395 yards. Seattle aint no 1999/2000 Ravens. They wont matter in the post season.

..ya' know..I still like Carroll.. I think he's just a coach doing what coaches do... I think he may have ignored alot at USC but he wasnt running some evil empire...who knows ?

he doesnt come off like a jerk on camera at least..

Seattle still looks gay though.. I mean, come on..PINK AND LIME /DAY GLO GREEN...just so wrong LOL

Tom Brady is a first-ballot Hall of Famer, a Super Bowl champion, a guy who's earned the right to be a little cocky.

Sherman is a damn good corner, especially with that height, but he really should pick his fights better.

For the record, this is what Brady said:

“(Silencing fans is) the fun part about being on the road. There’s nothing better,” Brady said Wednesday, as reported by CBS Sports. “Like in Buffalo a few weeks ago, there were more of our fans there at the end than their fans. We’ve done that in Pittsburgh; we’ve done that in some very loud environments.”

“It’s always nice when you take 53 guys on the road and you say, ‘This is all we’ve got and this is all we need and this is what we have to do,’” he said. “And see 70,000 fans, if you can keep them quiet or turn them on their own team. I think that’s an exciting part for road teams.”
Not quite sure where Brady is coming at Seattle fans, more of a generic 'we like to win on the road' comment. Sounds like Sherman just used it as motivation and wants to make himself known. I'm okay with the Sherman trash talk, as long as they back it up and don't make week 6 their Superbowl.

The bottom line is Brady did not instigate this, and Sherman is a shit talking little shit with no class. There really is no other way to break this down.

There is nothing inherently wrong with putting that nonsense on twitter, it's just a dick move and not the behavior you want to see out of a professional athlete. But like I said earlier in the thread, just look at the head coach of that team, it's not as if the leadership is oozing with class or professionalism.

It's football. Guys have been talking shit for decades. Doesn't matter if you're a 3rd stringer or the star qb. Anyone can talk shit. Nobody cares. Stop acting like vaginas.

And most of the win came from Russell Wilson and the inept Patriots safeties...not Sherman. I guess I'm not making any of the connections here...Brady didn't really "trash talk" the Seattle defense...the Seattle defense didn't play particularly well...Brady didn't play that poorly...Russell Wilson threw a long pass to pull out the win...then this Sherman guy opens his yapper, which is almost completely unrelated to everything that happened previously.

Sherman was one of the best CB's in his rookie year last year, and he is playing even better this year.

Well, supposedly during a TV time out, with the Pats leading 23-10, Brady referenced the scoreboard, and told Sherman to come see him after the game. Apparently Brady didn't have anything to say to Sherman after the game.

Brice McCain, Dimitri Patterson, Richard Marshall? So that's evidence you really want to use to support the statement? In addition, please recall Richard Marshall is now a starter for the Dolphins, signed as a free agent and led to the trade of Vontae Davis.......Richard Marshall has been fucking awful. He has missed the last 2 games.....both of which we won and our pass defense was better.
