Feel like this section could use some more topics so here goes..

I'm wondering what is everyones thoughts on what the Falcons need (position wise) to take that next step and be considered a SB caliber team. Now some could argue that they just need to win some playoff games to be in this discussion. but from my perspective i think if we had a true great DE to go along side with Abe, like JPP and be able to create pressure just off 4 man rushes alone it would help our team out a major amount.

They have a soft run defense. They currently give up 5.2 ypc.

So maybe a big stout DT or some LB's. They just need to stop the run a lot better than they are.

And having Brent Grimes not injured helps.

last year they were pretty good vs the run and not so much towards the pass.. Peters is back on the 53 man roster so that should help us out at the DT position. as for grimes i wonder where our defense would be this year if he didnt get hurt.

I think the Falcons need a stronger running game. Whether or not Turner is the guy, I don't know.

Honestly, i blame our offensive line on the Falcons horrible rushing attack this season. They just are not generating running lanes like they should.

But Turner is getting old and from all the carries he has gotten over the past couple seasons it may be time to find a new RB.

Turner won't be a Falcon next season, I promise you that. Even with the O-Line's blocking woes, if holes do develop Turner is too slow to hit them.

Lol Rudi, the Falcons team as a whole has been booty in the playoffs. Can't blame it all on him.
