People that defend Vick in any way are retarded.

As for when he will come back to the NFL, who gives a shit? How many teams(outside of maybe the Bengals and Raiders) will wanna be known as the team with the Dog Fighter at QB? Or just on their team period? Can you say bad publicity?

I know someone will take a chance on him but I highly doubt he will come back to the league and tear it up. He's been out of the game for awhile now, plus he has gotten older. He wasn't that good of a QB anyway...

Which is why I put that part in about the Raiders. It wouldn't be the first or last time the Raiders got bad publicity... Al Davis doesn't care who you are or what you did, aslong as you are either tall or fast, or both, you will make the Raiders. Al Davis is a Madden GM...

Back to the same argument, if we were to do something like that .. we'd be screwed. Jobs would look at the criminal record and never call you back. Our Society is screwed up enough .. but how much are we willing to let slide for our own entertainment?
Criminals have been in the nfl for years and always will be , im sure theres somebody whos played on your favourite teams whos a criminal . He killed dogs which is sick yes , but u said earlier about his life in prision , how do you know its been easy ? where you there? Hes made steps (truthful or not) since he got put away to pay his debt . Why not give the guy a second chance ? and as for the nfl , il admit he was one of my fav players but im not showing him bias , if the justice system WHICH HE DOESNT control allows him out and he is showing signs of trying to make up for what he did then give him a second chance .

It has been easy becasue his sentence was so short. The Maximum for dogfighting is five years. Vick should of gotten the five years in prison. But instead he gets out in a year and a half. I dont think goodell will let him back in to the league right away anyways. I mean if Pacman Jones gets susppended twice and is on the verge of getting banned if he messes up one more time for never getting convicted of anything then why would goodell let Vick play right away anyways. If Goodell does let him back then I think he should make Vick donate a portion of his salary to the ASPCA or something that helps abused animals. (not PETA those guys are fags)

He doesnt control how long he gets in prision and who are you to decide if his 1 and a half year spell in prision (even if that is the minumum) is easy ?? And if not mistaken hes bankrupt now .... so what money has he got to give to these people? When he signs for a new team he might well do what you suggested.

I wish people would stop arguing about this. We will all find out the deal next July.

Better yet, I never really liked him before .. this just gives me more reason to not like him. You're right .. criminals probably have played on my team. Did i say anything about them not? Did I say I liked someone that was? Yes, we all make bad decisions, and we all have to learn from our mistakes, but as said before .. how many of us have went out and personally killed someone or a dog .. or trained them to do so for our own entertainment? Apparently getting paid millions of dollars to play football wasn't enough, so he had to put these dogs through hell? Nah. And now people think he's done his time? You bitch about the ones that get out after murdering someone, but think this is okay? Perhaps you should not lower your standards on someone that purposely killed dogs, over those who killed a person.
                  lol

Didn't know Mr. Goodell was on VSN. Welcome..
