Problem is, like ralaw alluded to, he is a distraction as a backup because media & wacky fans want him to start.

The savings grace would be that I doubt ESPN would have crews camped out at Jaguars camp during the summer, so a smaller market with no real tradition may be a decent spot for him. The problem in Denver was Elway and the problem in NY is that the Jets were already a circus before he got there.

Tebow doesnt date under-aged girls...and the Jets should have kept Favre one more year..

Trust me, the Jets use of Tebow has been a joke.

The lack of imagination has been ridiculous.

Let's take into the fact that on 1st down, we run it about 62% of the time, that's 2nd most to the Seahawks. But we don't have Lynch we have been using Greene who has been lackluster aside from one game really against the Colts who suck dick on run defense. When we do trot out Tebow, its 1st and 10 where we...run. Or we'll have him as a TE...running a quick out? really??

We have LITTLE used Tebow on short yardage situations, or in the redzone. Our use has been sickening, Sparano has been really a horrible play caller...if anything the only upgrade we've had is that our WR's seemingly run better route combos giving Sanchez somewhat of a chance for a good read out there but otherwise, the plays usually go 1st and 10, run for 1-2 yards, 2nd and 8, 3rd and 7...we are simply making it too easy for opposing defenses to figure us out.

For once use Tebow in short yardage, 3rd and 1, 3rd and 2...use Tebow in the backfield with Sanchez...have this fuck toss to Tebow, then have him have the option to run or pass as he's sprinting to the left or something! The only saving grace with this tebow debacle is he's been damn good on special teams but that's due to the mind of Mike Westhoff...maybe Westhoff can tell Sparano a thing or two.
