There are many things wrong with Dallas but defense is not one of them. The defense has been exceptional this year. It's not Ryan's fault Scandrick can't tackle or the offense puts up a measly 13 points.

They haven't gotten hype since they beat NY in week 1. The only reason they still get so much coverage is because people like you LOVE to hate them and point how when they are doing badly. People love to call out Romo when he throws picks. People just love to see Dallas lose. Dallas wouldn't get the coverage they do if people who hated them didn't make them their main focal point.

Glad the defense held up without Weatherspoon out there. Him there and not is like night and day. Good to see Michael Turner stepping up in the 2nd half, he was killing me in the first. Averaging 1.6 YPC is no bueno! Glad this team can win the close physical match ups, can they do this in the playoffs still remains the question.

What "media hype" are you talking about? Dallas hasn't been hyped up since they beat NY in week 1. We are now in week 9 and they haven't been talked about as being some type of contender since that point in time.

And the coverage stays the same regardless of whether Dallas is winning or losing because it riles up the network's audience and keeps them watching. Instead of tuning out the Cowboy talk, the people who hate on the Cowboys decide to throw gas into the fire. The network's audience drives the networks to continue talking about them.

yeah i agree. Atlanta is not the best team. i found it amusing that tony gonzalas was complaining about the amount of respect the falcons get, but when asked said he didnt care about it

Hype to me does not equal extensive media coverage. Dallas is 3-5, they're not being hyped up for anything. We are obviously using the word in differently.
