I'm going to wait and see how Talib does in the Pats scheme before judging this trade but my gut tells me the Bucs won this deal.

I'm still a believer in team chemistry and high character players. Maybe Talib shapes up and refocuses in New England but his resume speaks for itself right now.

I like the trade for the bucs. Doesn't matter how good the player is if he can't play cuz he's fucking up off the field. This was a good time to move him because if he messed up again his trade value would have plummeted.

The genius part of this trade is that if Talib doesn't sign an extension, the Patriots have inherited the rights to the potential compensatory pick the Bucs would have gotten for losing Talib.
