I think Parcells time here proved its not really a Jerry issue. This team has done a good job of drafting , they havent had any killer contracts , they position themselves well on draft day. Outside of his obsession with under performing/douchebag star WRs his player decisions have been sound.
On the other hand Wade , and Garret have simply been awful fits. Jerry will do what the coach will allow Jerry to do. Jimmy and Bill both kept his retardedness well in check. All other coaches just get stomped on by his personality. I wouldnt mind Rob Ryan as the HC and bring in Norv to call plays but fact is it really would take a unique coach to put up with constantly having to keep eager Jerry in docile moods.
They drafted for shit when Wade was in charge. Have done better since he got shitcanned.
The bigger problem is not that Jerry wants total control, it's that he wants to be in the spotlight. And whether he wants to admit it or not, it seriously undermines the head coach's authority.
