2 ranked Big Ten teams and 1 of them is ineligible. God we're an awful conference.

Most interesting game to me is TAMU at Bama. It will be interesting to see what happens to Bama when they are spread out, especially after a very hard fought game last week. If this game was at TAMU, I'd say it would be an upset. Since its at Bama, I think they'll be fine.

Auburn deserves another beatdown for the 2010 game, hopefully that is delivered next weekend.

Les Miles did some interesting things in that LSU-Bama game.

Saw somewhere that LSU/Bama was the highest overnight of the year, at 7.0. Don't really get caught up in ratings though, a fuckton of people watched both games, because they were both competitive games featuring marquee programs.

On to week 11, and it's really hard for me to get excited about LSU's remaining three games (Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Arkansas). I hope the team doesn't feel the same way but there's bound to be some sort of letdown factor after such a gut wrenching loss. I would nould not be shocked to see them come out flat initially vs Miss State, they have to be pretty emotionally spent right about now.

At this point the only real thing we are playing for is next season, and making sure guys continue to develop. Hopefully Mett can build off of his career performance vs Bama and become more consistent, the young OL can continue to gel, etc.

Miles is going to have to do his best motivational work to close out the year. Just a difficult situation when you have talented 18-21 year old kids with not a whole lot left to play for. The difference between a Sugar Bowl berth and a Cotton Bowl berth is negligible, and I don't think it's gonna move the needle much in terms of motivation. There was only one goal this season, and the team has failed to reach it.

I'm hoping LSU gets matched up against Northwestern in the Champs Sports Bowl or something like that. What a disaster that would be. Northwestern would probably give up 60 or 70 points.

Sadly, can't happen. That's an ACC bowl tie in.

Capital One Bowl or the Outback Bowl is a possibility.

I still don't understand why the football couldn't have immediately implicated the 4 team playoff this season.(It likely won't matter anyways as I see at least 2 of these 3 teams losing before the end of the year anyways.) but still...

Because the absurd BCS TV contract doesn't expire for another two years!

Or in other words ... "money"

Why not just break the contract?

If it was about money(and don't know the figures) you'd have to think there is more money in a playoff than in a system that sucks, people hate, PLUS everyone now knows it's going the way of the dodo in two seasons.

Washington State WR Marquess Wilson has been suspended, rumored to have left the team. Many had Wilson as high as a first round pick before the season.
