Exactly what we need. Another pass happy coach that will not use the talent we have at RB. If Reid moves to Carolina, I am stealing his mailbox.

Bench Vick for Foles.. Foles goes on a tear.. Eagles somehow swipe a playoff spot.

          That's really about it.

he'd need to do more than sneak into the playoffs, he's def got to win a game.

Offense scores 16 PPG, defense lets up 17 PPG... FIRE THE DC!

Now, the offense scores 16 PPG, defense lets up 23 PPG... umm...

Lets face it, the offensive line took a step back when the old OL coach went to DC a year ago. Then when you fire the DC, it took a step back. Rearranging a staff won't fix anything here. Reid screwed up big time with his coaching moves in terms of personnel and will be on his way out this season.

He'll survive the season. As much as I am on board with parting ways with him, firing him during the season would be just wrong. He earned the chance to finish out the season.

This team was completely overrated coming into the last two seasons. And I'll admit that I drank the Kool Aid. The fact of the matter is, Vick is inconsistent. The offensive line is in shambles. They don't have a number 1 reciever. Defensive line took a huge step backwards, both Babin and Cole have been mailing it in the entire year. Mychal Kendricks has shown flashes and could be a good LB, D'Amico Ryans has been invisisble, and Akeem Jordan/Brian Rolle are reserve/special team players. Nate Allen is a bust, Kurt Coleman is awful and Aso has not come close to expectations. Outside of McCoy, Kendricks, and DRC, there isn't anyone on this team that can't be replaced.

Andy has always had his deficiencies. His playcalling and time management has always been a point of contention. But this year we have seen bone headed penalties, unrest in his coaching staff, and terrible special teams play. You never seen this with an Andy Reid coached team. It's apparent he's lost the locker room and these players are mailing it in. That's why he has to go at the end of the season.

You been watching the games? He is the only positive I see on the whole defense. Leads the team in tackles with 70, and leads the team with tackles for loss (11), the player with the second most tackles for loss on the Eagles has 4. I know there is a lot of blame to be put on this defense, but Ryans isn't who you point the finger at. Like you said, look at guys like Babin, Asomugha, Kurt Coleman, and Nate Allen. Those are the guys who are barely showing any effort to make a tackle out there or make a big play.

Yes I watch the games. This defense has given up 140 yards rushing in the last 3 games. That falls on the front seven. Other than the Detroit game I don't remember watching a game where I was seeing more than average productivity from him. The Saints, who are the 29th ranked rushing team in the league, runs all over us and he has 3 tackles that game. Not saying there hasn't been flashes, but for the most part Ryans hasn't really lived up to the hype as far as I'm concerned..

As an Eagles' fan, while I question his offensive playcalling, I have always respected Andy Reid ... but it's time for a change.

To put this season on Reid alone is wrong ... the O-Line is the 2nd worst in the NFL (thank you, Arizona) and the safeties cover receivers about as well as most defensive tackles. But, it's time.

Reid has nothing to apologize for - a great 14-year run ... but he's being tuned out now and is far too stubborn.

Reid will have at minimum five teams pretty much offering the house to him for next season. No tears for Andy, he'll get another job and likely succeed.

My question is with who the Eagles pick as their next head coach. All this talk about Jon Gruden or Bill Cowher puzzles me. They're yesterday's news. The game has changed.

Knowing Laurie, he won't open up the checkbook and get a Gruden or Cowher. He'll probably hire an assistant with a good pedigree, which is what he's done with his last 2 hires.

How is Reid being "tuned out"? I'm confused by that.

As far as the rumors, rumors will be rumors. But Bill Cowher was a guy that rarely fucked up with time management and knew a good thing when he had it (McCoy is being absolutely wasted). Reid is a bit bullheaded and needs to have his way.

I am shocked that there is an Eagles fan alive that WOULDN'T want Cowher (the game hasn't changed that much).

I wouldn't be mad if they hired Cowher, but I get this feeling it might not work.

Frankly, I think the Eagles should think outside the box the same way they did when they hired the Packers' QB coach 14 years ago. Call me crazy, I know you have before, but I'd offer the job to Chip Kelly and keep Michael Vick and see if the mad scientist could make it work with Vick.

Of course, all of this is moot if they continue to trot out Lehigh High School's offensive line.

If Rivera is out in Carolina and JR is willing to pony up (Rivera gone, but JR ponying up is a longshot) but there have been a lot of rumors about Cowher liking the Panthers job before Rivera was hired, maybe they take a shot at him I dont think Cowher is the type of guy to coach to take on the Eagles.
