Glad this was included in the notable matchup section. After surviving their home game against LA-Lafayette (which the CBS update scroll simply called "Louisiana"), Florida follows it up with another tough one, this time against Jacksonville State at home.

Here are some of my random thoughts:

*Why can't Tennessee win a conference game? It seems like every game they play is a close, high-scoring game, but they always end up losing? Do they make bad decisions at the end of games?

*Speaking of bad decisions at the end of games, when does Pat Fitzgerald of Northwestern have to give back his Coach of the Year awards? I've seen better late game pass coverage in Bill Walsh College Football.

*And speaking of not winning a conference game, when will West Virginia win a Big12 game? I think Brian Brohm had a more successful Heisman campaign than Geno Smith.

*Speaking of Louisville, they are no longer undefeated, if anyone cares.

*Speaking of no longer being undefeated, I'm glad Alabama didn't use a time out on 4th and goal and instead ran some crap play that was pretty much doomed from the start. Lets roll out to the short side of the field, and try to sneak a Bama WR into an area where a Texas A&M play is already standing. I don't get it. And props to the officials for making the call at the end of the game against Alabama. I think 95% of the officials in that situation would have given in to Nick Saban and picked up the flag.

*Speaking of Bama-A&M, why is the guy called "Johnny Football"? Kind of gay, no?

          * Louis Nix III made a Boston College player cry on Saturday. The legend continues.

Shows just how much BC puts into playing ND.

Also, the ejection of Irish Chocolate and that BC player were maybe the weakest ejections I've ever seen in a football game.

im glad to see ND playing well and in the hunt for the title. i can only pray that KS and loses and the polls allow Alabama to jump ND to play Oregon in the title game.
I do not want to see KS or ND in the title game

It's those rough SEC schedules man.... why do you think they're ranked in the top 10 all year?

What happened with his ejection? I was at the game and couldn't really tell, just seemed like pushing and shoving. Weird ejections.

Also, ND had 60% of the crowd in the stadium. It was a lot of fun. The "Manti Te'o" chants after his pick was epic as well.

cmon...they have had a great season but forget about the polls. do you really think they would beat the likes of Alabama, KS, oregon, LSU, Florida, Georgia, A&M...i have a hard time thinking they will get by USC.

they are good, but not quite there yet
