Sorry, he's a fucking idiot. Terrible clock management, worse playcalling.

It's been a hell of a ride this season. I'd love to see these guys finish strong against the SEC champ and bring back that trophy.

AAAAAAND we still won't know how Oregon stacks up against the SEC.

For god's sake, just schedule Alabama earlier in the year so we don't have to cry when they don't play for the national championship.

Props to Notre Dame for pulling out a win (and Lane Kiffin...) and I honestly think that Notre Dame-Alabama will be a better match-up, but I was really hoping to see how Oregon's offense compared to Alabama's defense.

Instead of just blindly bashing Notre Dame, why don't you give some reasoning behind why you think they are so terrible. They won every game on the schedule, something that no other eligible team did this year. How do you expect them not to be #1?

I don't agree with some of what NAHSTE says about ND, but at least he backs his arguments with facts instead of just saying they suck and posting a gif.

We know how they match up. They only managed to put up 27 against LSU last year while allowing 40, and they only scored 19 against a shitty Auburn defense in the NCG two years ago.

People need to shut the fuck up about this shit, and realize we already know how they fucking stack up.

It's like no one remembers LSU being just as fast as them and overpowering them completely

Not to mention they only managed 14 against Stanford at home this season. You have to imagine giving a top SEC defense a month to prepare would result in something similar.

I decided to go through all of the BCS conferences out-of-conference schedules. Every OOC game has been completed except for one (Nicholls State vs Oregon State*). I divided the results into three categories. Total record, FBS record, and BCS record. Notre Dame games are included into the BCS Record as well as the other two categories. The results are below.

                                Total Record:

                                Big 12 - 26-4 (86.66%)
                                SEC - 48-8 (85.71%)
                                Big Ten - 34-14 (70.83%)
                                Pac-12 - 25-11 (69.44%)
                                Big East - 25-11 (69.44%)
                                ACC - 27-21 (56.25%)

                                FBS Record:

                                Big 12 - 17-4 (80.95%)
                                SEC - 33-8 (80.48%)
                                Big Ten - 26-14 (65%)
                                Pac-12 - 17-10 (62.96%)
                                Big East - 17-10 (62.96%)
                                ACC - 14-21 (40.00%)

                                BCS & Notre Dame Record:
