One time, back in my playing days at DT, I didn't hear the whistle blow right at the snap for false start or something so I continued to just absolutely wallop the QB. I didn't get a penalty but the ref saying "we blew the whistle" was pretty "embarrassing".
NFL: Its December 08, last home game at Texas Stadium forever against Baltimore, Im there live and I will never ever forget Romo trying to throw a bomb to TO and instead he throws like a pop fly that nearly touched the roof right to no one but Ed Reed and he ran it back for a pretty good gain that set up Baltimore with some points. It was the dumbest thing Id ever seen in my entire life and I wont ever forget that moment. Or the back to back 75+ tds.... I was embarrassed to be a Cowboys fan and embarrassed for all the legends that night, and embarrassed to leave Texas Stadium like that.Comment

Kyle Orton and Jake Plummer BOTH attempted a left handed pass as a Bronco under duress. Plummer's was returned for a pick 6 because we were inside our own 10 when he did it.
I searched high and low for a video or gif but came up empty. Sorry guys.Comment

Watching Mike Vanderjagt miss the game tying fieldgoal against Pittsburgh in the 2005 Divisional game.
Best Colt team to ever take the field, Horrifically refereed game, and eternal saltiness for every colt fan invested enough to remember.
The missed false start call still pokes at me to this day.Comment

Both Miracle at the Meadowlands come to mind for the Giants.
I'm sure Kerry Collins has some embarassing moments too.Comment

Not a play, but Jake Delhomme turning the ball over 6 times in a playoff game against the Cardinals was pretty bad. To top it off it was also his birthday, can't imagine it getting much worse then that.

That fuckin game That game right there, that shit started our ascension into mediocrity. We were 3-0 going into that game and seemingly picked up where we left off after winning the SB, then we get called for leaping () and here we are a decade later.
