I know tons of college graduates that are poor as hell. Having an expensive receipt from a school doesn't mean you're set for life anymore

If the Deadspin article is to believed, a friend of Belcher's claims she was only working a couple of 4-hour retail shifts and had quit the job, which annoyed Belcher. Doesn't sound like she was much an earner.

I don't care if the family is educated or not. The fact is that "Zoe or her guardian (or estate) will receive $9,000 per month or $108,000 per year."
People are gong to fight over this money. They will surely fight over it when the guardian's lifestyle changes.

Yep. That is a lot of money, and it is coming so regularly that people won't forget about it for more than a couple weeks at a time.

Well, even from the moment it happened he was still a murderer. Hard to really have any sympathy.

Now let me put his number on my jersey and point to the sky. Thanks.

According to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Belcher's daughter will be financially taken care of, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports. Belcher's death benefit breaks down in the following ways:
» For the next four years, Zoe or her guardian (or estate) will receive $9,000 per month or $108,000 per year.
              »For one year, she'll receive $48,000.
»Until she's 18 or 23 (depending on if she goes to college), she'll receive $52,000 per year.
Must be some of that good union insurance. Most insurance policies don't pay any benefits in the case of suicide.

I think it's more for the murder aspect than the suicide
