Come on now. Don't act like your an idiot. LB is the leader on defense. And considering we are talking about offense, I don't think your man crush would work at QB.

Manti qualifies in all three of these categories.

Oh, so if you want to be a smart ass, then yeah. Since te'o is a good runner with the ball. How many offensive tds did he score? And I'd make a bet he would be a better QB then the one ND has.

He actually was an outstanding runner before college, they just don't want him injured... and rightfully so.

            Also, no.

From everything I've heard, it was Woody Johnson who wanted Tebow more than Rex and his staff.

I'm not making excuses for Sanchez, but he did make plays during the Jets two playoff runs when he had a better supporting cast(including one of the best o-lines in the league). The front didn't replace the core players they lost. That's on Tannenbaum & Rex. They've done a bad job of evaluating and developing talent.

I was just showing him that his criteria for a QB sucks. Not that Manti can play QB

                    That was pretty close...

We almost had a football thread that made it off the first page without a Manti Te'o debate. Crisis averted.

                      Guru of gimmicks?

His offense has been pretty fucking vanilla.

Unless u call lining up Tebow at TE and sending him on a 3yd out is gimmick and "innovative"

This shit is a mess and Woody fucked up by bringing in Tebow because it did two things

1- It underminded Rex, who CLEARLY is a Sanchez backer
2- It brought all this QB "controversy" which was really not needed and wasn't a controversy...they just printed up a brand new contract for Sanchez.

The jets would of probably had more wins with Tebow under center than Sanchez who is awful

Co-sign. Instead of bringing in legit weapons for Sanchez, Woody saddles him with the biggest distraction in the NFL.

Braylon was right about the cats running the Jets.

The real question is why is anyone outside of new York talking about irrelevant ass Tim tebow

I guess because only in New York is a former Heisman trophy winner that owns many career NCAA records and led his team to two national championships along with a winning NFL record as starter plus a playoff win considered to be irrelevant.

I'd say a 2nd or maybe 3rd string qb who's thrown 7 passes total this season is pretty irrelevant right now. I don't know what everything he's done in the past has to do with his current relevance, there's really no reason to talk about tebow right now, he's a non factor.
