Question for you guys. Who should I start Cecil Shorts vs. NE or Danny Amendola vs. TB. I'm leaning toward Amendola.

I finished the season (9-5) with 1672.36 points on the season (119.5/game), the most in the league by 97.08 points. I also finished with 1602.12 (114.44/game) points against, the most in the league by a whopping 115.26 points. Lost in the first round because R. Wayne, R. White, B. Brown failed to show up. Worst part is I was starting Pitta over Scheffler until the last second (would have won).

At least I can get my money back if I win the 3rd place game against my roommate this week. By the way, he was the #1 seed at 10-4 with 1466.72 (104.77/game, 6th PA) for and 1364.78 (97.48/game, 11th PA) against. Also interesting, he won his last game by .06 points which made him the top seed instead of missing the playoffs entirely.

Fantasy football for yeah. Sad thing is I can't imagine ever having a better year than I just did injury/draft/pickups-wise.

Not sure why that is so funny to you, some of the most competitive leagues out there do not have money associated with them. Having your buddies talk shit over a trophy for a year is pretty motivating.

Last year in one of my leagues, instead of money, we were playing for a nice little beer mug/trophy.

Agreed. I won't spend more than what we did for the VSN league. I do have more fun trash talking the whole year with co-workers or in one of my leagues where we all draft at the commish's house.

Our league is $15 but its not the money I cared about.

I've got a better one. After finishing in second for two straight seasons in the one league where we do a draft at the commish's house, I had set up my keepers pretty well. Calvin Johnson, MJD, Jamaal Charles and Ryan Matthews. I even nailed it early in the draft with Andre Johnson and Hakeem Nicks. I will finish in last this year. You can never predict these things, it's such dumb luck.
