I think what makes it worse is that the Bears don't really run any pass plays. Its more like street ball. It also doesn't help that Jeffery was never open on any of the passes Cutler threw to him except for the bomb that resulted in a 40-yard DPI. After the game, people were asking if they had ever seen a WR get 3 OPI calls on them in one game...but how many QBs would keep throwing the ball to a WR who is covered, forcing his WR to commit OPI penalties?

Everything you said was correct and also the the effect of a bunch of shit. Yes, their passing tree sucks, and very limited, not like I blame em though. With the offensive line play, their tree has been reduced to slants, hitches, and go routes. When was the last time we saw the Bears run a real fucking route?

Which leads to Alshon never getting any real seperation. I don't know, just a bad day offensively for a bad offense. I fully understand what youre saying abut Jay and why he would keep going there. But I just dont kniw what other choices he had really. Alshon covered, Brandon doubled and telling Jay to go to Alshon, and Devin not getting a look after Jay threw that pick in the first half. Throw in Matt Forte getting paid and now he is unable to beat LBs coming out of the backfield. Not a single option sounds good.
