Saban failed in the pro's before, so what ? he is a Belichick protege and obviously learns from his mistakes. I'm sure he would do better then Pete Carroll who is doing well his second time around.

It takes a whole body of people and the right situation, not just one person. There were those who thought Belichick sucked when he was in Cleveland. He was just working his plan but it never panned out, wasnt his fault in so many words

I thought the writing would be on the wall for Pioli, but Crennel, I would have given another season. It's not his fault that the GM didn't get him the QB this team needed to succeed this season.

No, they both need to GTFO. Go look at Crennel's career coaching record. It's fucking abysmal. Romeo is a nice guy, but he's a terrible motivator, disciplinarian and decision maker. Letting him be the head coach is like sending your kids to visit Grandma and Grandpa for a week. They get spoiled rotten. Romeo is just happy to collect a final pay check before he retires, and is just letting the players run amok.

Did Pioli draft moeaki , carr , berry and the RB ? Two years ago it seemed the Chiefs had a great influx of talent. Was Piolo just loyal to the wrong guy or was he just making bad choices over there ?

He drafted Moeaki...ahead of Gronk and Jimmy Graham. And I think they might have traded up to get him. Too lazy to check. Moeaki is just a guy, and he's injury prone. Pretty sad that he's one of Pioli's memorable draft picks. He did also draft Berry, but that seemed like a no brainer. Berry was one of the best DB prospects to come out in years. He didn't draft Carr...but let him walk in free agency, and then replaced him with Stanford Routt, who he then waived during the season. Which RB are you talking about? Charles? No, he didn't draft him. Pioli's draft record is bad. His free agent acquisitions have been bad. It's all bad.

Exactly. The Chiefs have some nice pieces to work with, but no leadership at the key spots of GM, head coach, and QB. There are some leaders on D, but players are afraid to speak out because Pioli has created such a toxic, secretive, paranoid working environment.

I know Lions fans will say Millen, but Pioli is the worst GM I've ever seen. He's not only terrible on the football side of things, but a first class, elitist prick as well.

Didn't he take Tyson Jackson at like #2 overall? That's when I started to wonder about this guy...

I thought it was a great hire at the time and wanted him to be brought to Denver along with McDaniels but it appears they both suffer from dickfaceitis when it comes to dealing with fans, players, the media, etc.

Just because you worked for a genius in Bill Belechik and he's an asshole doesn't give you carte blanche to be an asshole. You have to earn that...
