This mfer Bruce Arians gotta go

I'm not questioning his ability as a HC, he's done a remarkable job holding the team together. If Colts make the playoffs he should win COY or co-COY with Pagano. But he has to go.

    His playcalling is a joke.

Andrew Luck is at the top of the league in terms of % of passes thrown deep, only Cutler is higher.

He's probably already broken the rookie record for pass attempts.

He's on pace for 745 dropbacks (passes+sacks+rushing attempts) NFL record is 757.

Colts don't run the ball enough, they don't throw short-intermediate enough. They don't use playaction. They don't utilize Luck's scrambling ability enough either.

And he's trying to run this offense behind one of the worst pass blocking lines in the league. Genius.

Colts offense is a mess and it's only working cause Luck is so talented, even so his numbers have been trash this year. Good for a rookie but still

It's nice that they feel good about Luck they can throw the burden of an entire NFL offense on his shoulders so early but this dude Arians gotta go. Whenever questioned about it his only response is "I don't like to dink and dunk." It's like we got Rex Grossman as an OC.

I hope and pray some team snatches him to be their HC after this year.

Maybe the RBs are just that bad?

In Madden, they most definitely are. :cmpunk:

Colts RBs are trash and have been banged up this year. Ballard has looked pretty good though. I'm not even saying to pass less, just to not ask Luck to throw deep constantly behind a trash oline.

Also, Colts drafted two TEs early and refuse to use them cause Arians gets his rocks off chucking deep all the time.

I didn't know arians was out there throwing deep passes with luck standing on the sidelines.

            It's the playcalling.

And even if we want to live in a world where Arians isn't constantly calling these plays designed to go deep, and luck is ignoring him doing it anyway... When is Arians going to reign him in?

He's been encouraging it all year.

I'll be shocked if they fire him. Lets give the team some more time to build a roster. The offensive line is trash, the runningbacks are trash and it's the first year transitioning to a new defensive scheme. I actually think Arians will get some play as a head coach this off-season, but I would expect him to be back with the Colts in the end.

The Colts have 9 wins and your sitting over here complaining about deep passing and play calling?

You're one year removed from one of the worst seasons in recent memory. I wouldn't be too disappointed.

Yes, because the Colts have 9 wins I shouldn't be complaining. Just like when the Colts were regularly winning 12+ a year it made no sense to complain about their defense.

I guess it was LOL for the Steelers to get rid of him after they won 12 last year...and went 55-25 with him as OC.

Colts offensive playcalling is bad right now I don't care if they win out the rest of the season and through the playoffs.

They aren't and shouldn't fire him. All I'm saying is I'll be tapdancing if another team hires him.

The offensive line is trash which is why it's baffling why Arians thinks it's a good idea to constantly drop Luck back and have him go deep. So he can get sacked and hit all the time.

In addition to that the refusal to move Luck outside the pocket on designed rollouts or anything, and also seemingly telling him not to run is weird.

According to PFF, Andrew Luck has 633 dropbacks on the year.

Even 633 is pace for 723 which is amazingly high.

Your arguments against Arians sounds like Steelers fans for the past few years.

It almost sounds as if he's an OC without a HC to keep him grounded in his playcalling.

They should only run the ball more if Ballard is back there. I hate to wish injury upon anyone, but I was ecstatic to hear Donald Brown is out for the season. They just need to let Ballard learn to pass block better and I think he should be the full time starter. Melwelde Moore needs to go back to the couch.

I don't have the same views on Arians as you, I think he is doing just fine. The Texans game was really a matter of J.J. Watt getting to do whatever whenever he wanted all game long. The offensive line needs improvement the most. Luck having to scramble for his life every single play isn't good.

Next Sunday's game is supposedly Arians' last game as HC anyways, Pagano is supposed to come back

I was glad when Arians left the Steelers for this very reason. His playcalling was butt, and it cost us the SB against Greenbay.
