Fans aren't staying away from Everbank on gameday because we're waiting for our "savior" to rescue our franchise... it's just difficult to fork over $400, $500 or however much it costs to bring a friends or family to watch a (soon to be) 2-14 team. Tebow himself isn't gonna turn this team around, not with the rest of the roster being a complete dumpster fire.

It would be awesome if the Texans traded a 6th to hold him on the bench and play keep away

I don't get how you can hold an open competition between 3 guys that all have a different skill set. You should either taylor the offense around Tebow's special skills, Henne's carelessly strong arm, or Gabbert's noodle arm.

Tebow in particular has a very unique skill set that the other two can't run, so how the hell do you have an open competition?

Either way, I hope the Jags are on hard knocks next season so we can get an inside look at how stupid this "open competition" is going to be, assuming Tebow is a Jag.

You can't.. it would be a circus..

But a good circus might draw better than the Jags anyway.

Jaguars going to the playoffs with a record 13 4th-quarter comebacks.

I was thinking about this and at the very most i would want him in at QB while in the redzone. His versatility would lead to confused defenses and all that but i'm really trying to be optimistic about this.

I was one of them in the playoffs... I supported that asshole all year, and then he does that to my team? Uncalled for.
So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

                  Good post.

You either have to go all in, hand the job to Tebow, and run his offense, or from day one use him as the #3 QB who is active every week with specialized packages. There is no point asking Tebow to compete in a traditional offense because it's pretty obvious he can't run one.
