I think the 6-3 finish saved Rivera's job. Cam didn't progress much, but he did cut down on turnovers so that's a positive sign. Need to do something about our running backs (trade someone) and shore up a few spots and we can compete for a playoff spot next year.

I actually like Rivera, but I worry about Newton being able to play under pressure. He looked pretty bad until things were bottomed out, and then he straightened out his play and did pretty well. The problem with trading a back is that they are pretty undervalued in a trade, and unless the new GM is willing to take less to move a guy, the Panthers will have all of them back.
