    Ed Reed Done with Ravens?

Appearing on NFL Today, CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reported that some of Ed Reed's teammates believe that 2012 is his last season with the Ravens. Reed, 34, is a free agent this offseason, and La Canfora mentioned the Dolphins, Saints, and Falcons as possible landing spots. Reed played his college ball in Miami, is from New Orleans, and makes his offseason home in Atlanta. We'd throw the Patriots into the mix as well. Bill Belichick has always been a big fan of Reed. An era may be coming to a close in Baltimore.
It's certainly going to be a much different defense for the Ravens next season. Without Ray Lewis for sure and possibly Ed Reed? Those two guys have been the face of that Baltimore defense for as long as I can really remember. Would be sad to see both guys leave in the same off-season. Personally, I still believe that Reed can have a productive season or two more, but we'll just have to wait and see on that. What do you guys think?

Reed's been hurt a lot with injuries throughout the years, including the neck injury that was always kept under wraps. He's also brought up retirement before, so I don't see Reed being a guy who is just going to float to another roster for "one more season." If he's done with the Ravens, he's probably done with the playing side of football.
