i heard Shaun King is looking to come out of retirement.....

why wouldnt the Bucs give him a like a 2+ year deal.........they realize that there isnt much out there, including the upcoming draft.

But good try. I believe I've stated a couple times that I would have no problem starting Cousins until RGIII is ready to go.

Did Logan Mankins get his "world class spinter" speed, that made him the player he is, back?

Was Dr. Andrews in awe of Griffins knee and proclaimed it be in the condition of a new born baby?

instead if worrying about RGIII getting comeback player next season; should worry about where Freeman gonna go if he continue playing the $$$$ game.

Freeman doesnt deserve a new deal so he didnt get one. He plays up to expectations then he will, that simple. Not only that but there is not telling if Greg Shiano wants him at the helm, he still have to build the team that he wants, not that he inherited.

But yea, instead of worrying about what my healthy QBs contract situation is you worry about the cartilage and ligaments (or lack there of) in the 22 y/o you mortgaged the future for. May want to also give some thought to what he will be without the college O being as effective when 1. the D coordinators get an offseason under their belts and 2. Griffin isnt the same Griffin after 3 ligament surgerys.

The Freeman trolling is old, predictable and simply not you or Thomas's MO. Leave it to W2B or faggot ass Woy.

Serious question, has there been any word that Schiano doesn't want Freeman? I find it hard to believe there's been no word one way or another after a year down there, official or not. If not, I guess the question will be answered this off-season, as they could draft someone early or make a deal for Flynn or another QB.

I havent heard any news about him leaning one way or the other. He addressed the question in general in his end of the year presser. Pretty much said that he isnt ready to make a decision on any player on the roster until they evaluate the season as a whole. Also went on to say that he is for competition at each and every position and they will do what they can to bring in as many good players to compete for their jobs.

The way I see it is its Freemans job to lose, he has been handed the keys but hasnt owned the position like he should have. Guy has had 1 great season, an awful season and a decent season this past year. He hasnt had any competition to push him and hasnt been consistent enough to earn a new contract. Its like the Joe Flacco situation with them wanting consistency before they made a huge financial commitment, and this was after Joe did all he could to make a super bowl push last season. Im on board %100 with Mark and Greg choosing to make him earn it, the money that he will be getting from a new deal warrants them taking this approach with the verdict still being out on him after his 4th season.
